Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Colin grew up immersed in dense forests surrounded by snow-capped mountains. He quickly developed an appreciation for nature. This appreciation soon transformed into a passion for architecture and how our built environment can draw inspiration from, enhance, and help preserve our natural landscape. Drawn by its curriculum centered around environmentally conscious design, Colin earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon.
Upon graduation, he began his career at an internationally renowned firm in Seattle. As part of the firm’s global studio, he worked on commercial and retail projects in various locations around the world. During this time, he kept an eye on returning to Oregon and after a few years in Seattle, was able to do so. After settling in Portland, Colin shifted his focus to multi-family residential and hospitality projects.
Now in Ashland, Colin brings his broad experience of various project types to help local clients achieve their vision. Whether big or small, Colin possesses the tools necessary to successfully assist clients in all of their design needs. Licensed in Oregon and Washington, Colin currently serves as President-Elect of the Southern Oregon chapter of the AIA.
